As part of the Film London x Womens Museum: T A P E Collective presents a short film programme of films by women of the role women play in preserving and shaping history.

Inspired by Materiality of Memory T A P E takes a look at the immaterial ways of oral storytelling and its significance in preserving memory, history and a legacy. From ancestral stories, stories passed on between women in a family and online preservation of one specific moment; May They Remember Us is a celebration of the fragments which have remained and the people uncovered while grieving the moments we’ll never know of. The screening will be followed by an ‘A Route to the Image’ filmmaker Reman Sadani to discuss her work around archives and oral storytelling.
